Step by Step, Day by Day

Hey Girl,

Welcome to our heavenly haven.

I’ve been in ministry for almost a decade now—insane to think about, but true nonetheless. Some of you were introduced to me through my former blog Life Sojourned, through past ministerial spaces, or creative works I’ve shared over the years—writing, producing, or acting.

Life Sojourned was a space where I pieced together the beauty and mystery of the Christ-like journey. That season taught me to slow down and learn the rhythm of walking with Jesus. But now? The soundtrack of heaven has shifted. I’m no longer just learning His rhythm—
I’m walking in it.

I know, I hear you—
"Lo, what’s the difference?"

The difference is the environment, the role, and the responsibility.

When you're learning the sound of His rhythm, you're in the classroom. Your job is to listen and receive. But when you're walking in His rhythm? You’re on the field.
Now, you’ve got to hold your instrument. Execute the choreography. Play on cue.

It’s no longer just listen and learn
It’s play, move, and carry weight.

The instructions are different. The stakes are higher. The trust is deeper.

Welcome to Living Chosen.

One Band. One Sound. Let’s march forward.

On this side of heaven, we’ll have podcasts (both live and recorded), blogs, and Livin Lo Vida—my personal vlog you can follow on YouTube. But this blog? This is our heavenly haven. Here, I’ll let you into my world as a leader, entrepreneur, economist, and artist. And more vulnerably, I’ll let you into my world as a woman navigating calling, purpose, and destiny while healing the little girl within.

In the heavenly haven, I have one rule:
Relax Your Shoulders.

This is not a high-intensity, pressure-filled place with someone yelling at you about who you should be, what you should be doing, or projecting impossible standards.

Living Chosen is a heavenly haven—
A space where your hand is welcome to enter my side.

And as I show you the scars from my own crucifixion, may you extract the courage to endure your own—knowing that the blood and water that once flowed from the wound can become a source of faith for a generation.

Here is my side.
Welcome to Living Chosen.

P.S. I actually wrote this introductory blog at the end of February. Before launching, I asked the Lord to confirm His endorsement of this space. Not long after, my church began a sermon series called Rhythm Nation, and in it, my Spiritual Mother preached a message where several lines from this blog were spoken verbatim.

It was divine confirmation—not only that this blog is in the current of God, but also…
That this is the season.
And this is our moment.
